Safety above all

22 July 2014 in the Public Chamber of Russia took place the round table regarding “Child-passenger safety improving in vehicles: perfection of Russian Road traffic regulations”.

Initiator of the meeting was Committee of the Public Chamber of social support of the citizens and quality of life and Russian Red Cross. In the discussion of urgent problem took part the representatives of Russian President's Council of civil society development and human rights, R&D Establishment in examination and debugging of auto-moto-vehicles, WHO experts, State Automobile Inspectorate Interior Ministry of Russia, Association of junior transport schools and other interested organizations.

Dates of round-table were specified not for nothing: exactly in summer, when children travel with parents by cars, quantity of child accidents because of crashes is rising. Mainly liability for that is on the adults, who ignore installation of child restrains in the cars. Child restrains often saves life of small passengers.
