“Little Big Passenger”: Memorial Day of road tolls

15th of November on the eve of Memorial Day of road tolls Action of Lyceum Students № 1547 was held on the south-east of Moscow with the support of Russian Red Cross and social project “Little Big passenger”.

Before the assembled audience appeared the heads of Management of Traffic Police Department of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow traffic police battalion from South-East Administrative District Moscow, representatives of Russian Red Cross and its Moscow branch, Department of Education of Moscow City, social organization "Russian Union of pedestrians” and others. In the speech to the students was emphasized that child rate of accidents on the Moscow roads unfortunately are not uncommon and together with the increase of driving culture of motorists participation of young road users to ensure their own safety is necessary.

During the meeting for the Lyceum students were organized master-classes of first aid for common injuries in road accident victims, as well as the proper use of special child restraints (car seats).

During the event was held round table "Road safety for school children and the use of reflectors", where also was organized a teleconference with the Finnish school from Laitila. The participants discussed problems of cooperation between authorities and childcare groups, and also answered a number of Lyceum students’ questions about road safety.

Social project "Little Big Passenger" took part in Memorial Day of road tolls Action. PR-Premier professionals have organized complex support of the event.
