June 14, 2012 in the Russian International News Agency (RIA Novosti) held the press conference devoted to the issues of child safety on the roads and the start of the project "Little Big Passenger."

The project was initiated by General Motors - leader in foreign car sales in Russia with the support of The Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP).

In the conference took part:

  • Jim Bovenzi, President and Managing Director General Motors Russia & CIS;
  • Alexander D. Tsaregorodtsev , MD, Professor, Director of the Moscow Research Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery, Ministry of Health.
  • Margarita Plotnikova, Project coordinator, Global Road Safety Partnership.
  • Sergey V. Hranskevich – Acting as head of the department of the promotion of the road safety GUOBDD, Russian Interior Ministry.
  • Olga N. Rezvova - regional public organization supporting mothers and children (Kostroma).
  • Anton Chuikin - chief editor of the magazine «Za rulem».

Other partners of the project:
The Russian Red Cross - non-profit organization active in social activities , Romer - children restrains producer, Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house, magazine “Za rulem”.

The press conference was attended by 41 journalists from key socio - political and specialized mass media.

The complex of works on the organization and carrying out the event was executed by specialists of PR-Premier Agency.
