The “Generium” production complex produces a number of recombinant drugs, including the first local recombinant clotting factor ASC-VII (activated) obtained through genetic engineering and with no need to use donor’s plasma.
Journalists learned about all stages of the production process including the preparation of the reference bank cell, the technological process of growing, production of factor VII, the cleaning process (including the theoretical contamination by prions viruses), the validation process and how the final dosage form is obtained.
