Press conference for Philips

RIA ‘Novosti’ hosted December 11 to press conference “Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Choosing Life!” organized by PR-Premier specialists on the request of Philips and with the assistance of the National Academic & Research Society of the Emergency Call Service.

Peter Ziese, Ultrasound and Patient Monitoring Systems Business Group Director at Philips Healthcare, made a presentation of the world statistics of sudden cardiac arrest cases and patient survival rate.

Prof. Arkady Vertkin, President, National Academic & Research Society of the Emergency Call Service, in his presentation turned attention to the fact that the risk group has cardinally changed for the last years: sudden cardiac arrest cases are increasingly growing among healthy young people!

The approach of first aid to victims by people having minimal training has been realized by Philips at creation of HeartStart FRx Defibrillator. A first in defibrillation technology, HeartStart FRx provides a mobile, wireless palmOneÔ compatible software solution for data management. Infant/Child Key signals to the device to adjust energy and provide special pads placement and CPR instructions when treating an infant or child.

All project implementation stages, including cooperation with key printing and Internet publications, logistics and event concept development, were executed by PR-Premier experts.
