On March 26, young artists from schools and colleges around the world proudly displayed their art work at the celebratory event of the Unilever International Schools Art Project held at London’s Tate Modern.

The purpose of UISAP is to give an opportunity to young artists to show the world through their eyes.
Yulia Ryzhkova (16) from Moscow represented Russia in London. Her art-work, in the opinion of members of the national jury staff chaired by famous Russian artist and sculptor Mikhail Shemyakin, became the best from all the entries in the Russian Federation. Russian kids have participated in the contest for several times. This year, the jury received entries from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Tomsk, Volgograd, Novosibirsk and other cities. The children interpreted this year’s theme “Beauty and Difference: Worlds Apart”.
