On December 6, 2007, in line with exhibition “Healthcare – 2007”, PR-Premier held press conference for Philips “Healthcare of the future: focus on patient”.
Following the tendency of focusing on a patient, Philips creates technologies which facilitate work of health professionals and give them more time for communication with patients. Such approach also helps create solutions for medical care – both in hospitals, and at home – for chronically ill patients - the number thereof grows faster in Russia.
During the press conference Bernard Doners, CEO Philips Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Middle Asia, presented the development strategy - Philips “Vision 2010”, and also told about how it will be realized in the Russian market.
Hans Bossink, President Philips Healthcare Central and Eastern Europe, explained the establishment background of Philips Healthcare: necessity in focusing on people’s needs and aim to simplify the healthcare system.
Michael Manuel, Executive Vice-President, Roentgenology Unit Manager Philips Medical Systems, presented latest innovation by Philips in roentgenology, MR and CT (256).
Andrey Mishakin, President Philips Healthcare Russia and CIS, shared information about business development in healthcare in Russia, key achievements and company’s development plans in this market that is very important to Philips.
Media representatives also gained an opportunity to acquaint themselves with Ambient Experience MR system based on Philips Panorama 1.0T – first in the world magnetic resonance open core-spin tomograph with active imaging, providing more favourable atmosphere for patient’s comfort and communication with him. For the first time ever Philips demonstrated this system to the public at large in Russia, specially installed it on its stand presented in line with ‘Healthcare – 2007’ exhibition.
This is the first project PR-Premier carried out for Philips. Agency specialists conducted the whole range of works on preparation and realization of the press conference. Several interviews with top management of the company were also done in line with the current follow-up.
