KinoSTART-2006

The ‘KinoSTART-2006’ project, conducted for three years continuously on the request of Panasonic and the Federal Agency on Education, has summed up its results for the year in the Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK).

150 participants of the project came to the film festival from 6 Russian regions: Pskov, Chelyabinsk, Petrozavodsk, Stariy Oskol, Kazan, and Yaroslavl. They presented 30 films, made in various genres. The jury, chaired by famous director Vladimir Grammatikov, defined winners on 9 nominations, and the visitors made their ‘People’s Choice’. The finalists were rewarded with honorary diplomas and special equipment from Panasonic, which gives all of the winners the possibility to improve their creative skills in filming.
