Shortly before the New Year’s celebration, on the request of Panasonic, PR-Premier has prepared and carried out the final stage of the music and education project - Ideas for music, which has been conducted two years continuously in the line of the company’s social strategy - Panasonic ideas for life.
The Russian National Orchestra, and also the legend of the Russian jazz – saxophonist Igor Butman gave a special New Year’s concert for the inmates of the Children’s Homes and boarding schools of Moscow and Moscow Region. They performed musical compositions by Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov in the original jazz version for the children, many of them had never heard live music. Over 1500 boys and girls could feel the real art.
The Father Frost met the children at the lobby of the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. Near the New Year’s tree he along with the Snow Maiden conducted funny games and contests with various presents. The Children’s Homes, whose inmates gathered at the Concert Hall, received modern Panasonic equipment (TV sets, boom boxes, etc.) as the new Year’s presents.
