"The Best Practice of Sovereign Debt Management and the Demand of it in the Russian Federation"

PR-Premier has carried out a range of organization and preparatory works on the request of Vnesheconombank to conduct the international scientific and practical seminar "The Best Practice of Sovereign Debt Management and the Demand of it in the Russian Federation". The initiator of this seminar was the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

The seminar was dedicated to the offset of debt to the state members of Paris Club made by Russia in August 2006 and to the termination of relations with the Club as a state debtor.

Alexey Kudrin, Minister of Finance, Sergey Storchak, Deputy Minister of Finance, Oleg Vyugin, Head of the Federal Financial Markets Service, Vladimir Dmitriev, Chairman, Vnesheconombank and other representatives of Russia’s business elite, and also representatives of the World Bank, OECD and state members of Paris Club took part in the seminar.

The discussion ended with the official reception held on behalf of Minister of Finance Alexey Kudrin regarding the advanced offset of earlier restructured debt by Russia.
