“Why should we suffer pain?”

On the request of AstraZeneca, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, PR-Premier has provided assistance in organizing and realizing the event “Why should we suffer pain?” in Discovery club.

Alexander Rumyantsev, Chief Paediatrist of Moscow, Natalia Klipinina, Clinical Psychologist, rendering psychological assistance to children of the Hematological Center of the Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital, Irina Gorbunova, Head Physician of ‘Iternal’ Clinic of Medical Cosmetology have participated at the press conference. The event was dedicated to the problems of surface anesthesia and EMLA (acronym for Eutectic Mixture of Local Anesthetics), which is usually applied to the skin and covered with a clear dressing about 1 hour before the procedure or needle stick to help reduce the pain associated with the procedure or needle stick. According to the participants, almost all the children and every fifth adult have a tripanophobia (fear of injections).

PR-Premier experts have launched the program of the event and realized the whole set of managerial and engineering works.
