Opening of the «Unique Cinema cluB» in children hospital

November 15, 2011 The “Unique Cinema cluB” was opened in Moscow children’s psycho neurological hospital №18 within the framework of Children’s Day. This is the first creative project, specially designed for children with epileptic syndromes carried out by the Moscow International FilmSchool with support of the company UCB Pharma. Its main objective is to arouse in sick children desire to act and to change themselves and the world around them.

The «Unique Cinema cluB» gave the children a real opportunity to reveal and demonstrate their creative potential and participate in process of real filming. The children with the help of FilmSchool specialists prepared a concert program which included dance and vocal numbers created on the basis of famous movies. In addition children learned the basics of acting and contributed to the creation of film about the project. The children who for health reasons could not go on stage and participated in the preparation of decorations and watched the concert from the audience with great interest. Young actors not only have shown their artistic talents but also realized how important it was to support those who were near, and give them positive emotions.

A special cinema room was prepared for young patients in the hospital. It will work on daily basis and has all facilities for watching movies including a video collection of the best of Russian and foreign movies for children.

All the project activities from the concept elaboration to implementation were carried out by PR-Premier specialists.
