Running the program of peritoneal dialysis in the Nizhny Novgorod region

August 22, 2011 The peritoneal dialysis program was launched with the support of Fresenius Medical Care with the aim to treat patients with chronic renal failure (CRF).

Key mass media representatives attended the launch of the program in Nizhny Novgorod. They were given the opportunity to photograph and film the first operations on the installation of peritoneal catheters in patients with chronic renal failure. The operation was conducted by professor K.Y.Gurevich, head of the department of nephrology and efferent therapy from the St-Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies.
