On February 22, 2011 the international conference “Innovation in Russian Healthcare: sharing international best practices” took place at the Lotte Hotel Moscow. The event was organized the British Embassy in Moscow, AstraZeneca, Russian Venture Company and Skolkovo

SoThe impressive list of conference speakers included Arkady Dvorkovich, Assistant to the President of Russia, Veronika Skvortsova, Deputy. Minister of Health and Social Development, Olga Borzova, chairman of the Duma Committee on Health, and other government, academic and business representatives of the Russian, British and EU community. The conference participants discussed the prospects of joint innovative projects in the field of biopharmaceuticals and their subsequent commercialization, as well as creating and enabling a favorable research and business climate.
