KinoSTART

The first stage of the All-Russian project “KinoSTART”, being realized by Panasonic company in frames of the global Panasonic ideas for life strategy, has been finalized.

The joint creative work of 16 teams from 3 Russian cities – Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and St.-Petersburg – resulted in 16 short documentary and fiction films and social reels.

The experienced consultants assisted the members of shooting groups. They conducted master-classes on the history of cinematography, demonstrated the kids what the work of a producer, scriptwriter and operator consists of, and lead the kids through all stages of film preparation and production. The kids developed and prepared scripts, shot, played, tried to select music, recorded sound and edited on their own. Finally, there were produced 16 original, different from one another stories – lyrical and social, funny and historical….

Jury of the festival “KinoSTART-2004” will start its work on March, 24 under the chairmanship of famous film director Alla Surikova. Jury members Evgeny Zharikov and Natalia Surikova, famous cinematography workers, will watch all films and make proposals on awarding.

All tasks on project organization and conduction, including preparation of the upcoming festival, are being realized by PR-Premier company.
