The press conference dedicated to the upcoming expedition of participants of the unique project “Russian way – walls of world” to the Eastern Himalayas has taken place in Itar-Tass St.-Petersburg Representative Office.

Members of the expedition team “Panasonic – Jannu Northern wall” held already a record at the cherished wall in Autumn 2003. They surpassed their forerunners then and climbed 500 meters higher but the weather conditions made them recede, living uncovered just 710 meters to the top of Jannu peak. They go back now with firm desire to conquer this peak.
